Paths Update

Slow and steady wins the race they say. The paths had to take a back seat to the flurry of Spring time maintenance, preparations and planting. As luck would have it, in the meantime I managed to get a load of, I would say heritage sandstone from a very generous family via Gumtree. A bit more work, but the results so far speak for themselves.

  1. Is the wood boxing a part of the structure and boundries for the gardens? If yes it will allow for build-up of humus etc and retain the garden edges. Without the wood its look will be blended.

Yeah, wood is to stay..it was originally going to be all gravel, hence the timber edging to contain. In other spots, for example, the redgum, garden beds have doubled as the edging.I think once the timber ages a bit, it will look more natural.

  2. The garden steps look amazing mate
